Solar is sold badly in a lot of places - a capacity guessed over the phone, a price with things missing from it, and a contractor who disappears after commissioning. This page sets out exactly how we work, what we commit to, and what we do not cover, so you can hold us to it.
Six steps, start to finish
You are actively involved in two of them. The rest is our work.
You share your electricity bill
One document on WhatsApp is enough to begin. Your bill carries your consumption history, sanctioned load, DISCOM, tariff category and consumer number - which together decide what capacity is even permissible at your premises, before anyone talks price.
We send a free written assessment
Within one working day you get recommended capacity, expected generation for Ahmedabad conditions, applicable subsidy, indicative cost and payback - in writing, so you can compare it against anything else you have been offered. There is no charge and no obligation to proceed.
Site survey and design
We visit and measure. Shadow-free area, roof condition and structure, meter position and cable route, and the distance from plant to mains. Only then do we finalise module layout, string design, structure and cable sizing - and issue a firm techno-commercial quotation with an itemised bill of material naming every make offered.
Paperwork and DISCOM approval
National portal registration, DISCOM application, feasibility approval, net-metering agreement and subsidy application. We prepare and file all of it. This is where most of the calendar time goes, and it is the part customers most often get stuck in when they are left to do it themselves.
Installation and commissioning
Structure erection, module mounting, inverter and switchgear installation, DC and AC cabling, earthing and lightning protection, testing, DISCOM inspection, net-meter installation and commissioning. We commit to 60 days from the site or terrace agreement, subject to DISCOM approval and site readiness.
Subsidy claim, handover and five years of service
We complete and follow up your subsidy claim, hand over warranty documents and monitoring access, and take you through how to read the app and when to clean the modules. Then five years of free O&M against manufacturing defect - which is when you find out whether a contractor meant what they said.

A lump-sum price covering supply, installation, net meter charges, DISCOM agreement and liaison work - with the exclusions listed openly below.

Portal registration, DISCOM application, net meter, agreement and complete subsidy claim assistance - handled by us, not handed back to you.
Elevated GI structure
Hot-dip galvanised double-pipe structure at 60-80 micron, elevated so the terrace beneath stays fully usable.
ALMM-approved components
MNRE / ALMM-approved N-type TOPCon modules, ISI-standard inverters and branded balance of system - named in the bill of material.
Wi-Fi monitoring included
Online generation monitoring on every plant as standard, so performance is visible to you and to us.
Sized from your bill, not a guess
We read your consumption and measure your shadow-free area before recommending capacity. No system is quoted over the phone.

Subsidy is separate. Under PM Surya Ghar the subsidy is released by the Central Government directly into the beneficiary's bank account after installation and DISCOM inspection. It is not adjusted against payments to S R Energies, and we never ask you to sign it over to us.

Most disputes in this trade come from the second column. So here it is, before you buy.

- Limited civil work for the structure foundation
- DC and AC cabling, ACDB, DCDB, earthing and lightning arrester
- Power evacuation from plant to mains, up to 30 metres
- Solar net meter charges, where the existing meter location is retained

- Subsidy application and claim assistance
- Wi-Fi generation monitoring
- Five years free O&M against manufacturing defect
Not included
- Meter shifting or relocation, if the DISCOM insists on it
- Additional DISCOM charges - name change, meter testing, SMC box, connectivity or load enhancement charges
- Society NOC or terrace rights agreement, which the customer arranges
- Shadow-free roof area, safe site access, and water and power during installation
- Cabling beyond 30 metres from plant to mains
- Waterproofing, extended foundations or changes to the agreed structure design
- Damage from fire, lightning, storm, theft, accident or negligence - insurance is recommended and is in the customer's scope

We are a new firm. Here is how to judge us.
S R Energies is a young company. We are not going to put a fabricated project count on this website, borrow someone else's photographs, or show you logos of companies we have never worked for. You will find plenty of that in this industry, and it is worth exactly what it costs to produce.
What we will give you instead is a written scope with every component make named, a fixed all-inclusive price with the exclusions listed openly, a five-year free O&M commitment that runs longer than most of what you will be offered locally, and a workshop inside the Naroda industrial belt - so when something needs attention, we are a short drive away rather than a call centre in another state.
