Either way, we take responsibility for design, supply, construction, approvals and commissioning, under a CAPEX or an OPEX structure.

Ground-mounted solar
If you have land, a ground-mounted plant will usually do more with the same money than a roof will. It is not constrained by the shape, strength or orientation of a building, and it is far easier to keep running well for twenty-five years.
Built at the right angle
A ground-mounted array is set at the tilt and orientation that suit the site, rather than whatever pitch the roof happens to have. That difference shows up in generation on every day of the plant's life.
No load on your building
No dead load added to an existing structure, no penetrations through a roof membrane, and no argument with an insurer or a landlord about what has been fixed to the roof.
Maintainable for 25 years
Cleaning, inspection, string testing and module replacement all happen at ground level. Over a plant's life that is the difference between maintenance that gets done and maintenance that gets deferred.
Scale beyond the roof
Roof area caps a rooftop plant long before your consumption does. On land, capacity is set by what you need and by what the connection can evacuate.
Engineered foundations
Structure and foundation designed for the soil and the local wind loading - pile, pedestal or ballast as the site requires, rather than one detail copied across every job.
Land that earns
Vacant land inside or adjoining a plant boundary, buffer strips and unused plots become a generating asset instead of an overhead.

Three questions decide feasibility before anything else: is the land shadow-free and reasonably level, is it clear of title and land-use restrictions, and can your connection evacuate the capacity you want. We check all three during the assessment, and we will tell you plainly if the answer to any of them is no.
Why the numbers work better for business than for homes
Commercial and industrial consumers pay a higher tariff than households, use most of their power during daylight hours, and have large unshaded roofs. That combination is what makes C&I rooftop solar one of the shortest-payback investments available to a plant.
Higher tariff, bigger saving
Every unit you generate displaces a unit bought at commercial or HT tariff. The higher your tariff, the faster the plant pays back.
Daytime load matches solar
Single-shift manufacturing, cold storage, offices and schools consume when the sun is up, so most generation is self-consumed rather than exported at a lower rate.
A hedge against tariff rises
Grid tariffs move one way over 25 years. A plant on your own roof fixes a large part of your energy cost on day one.
Accelerated depreciation
Under CAPEX ownership, businesses can typically claim accelerated depreciation on the asset. Confirm the current rate and your eligibility with your CA - we will give your accountant whatever documentation they need.
Land or roof, whichever you have
Spare land becomes a generating asset; an idle shed roof does the same, and the modules reduce heat ingress into the space below - which matters in a Gujarat summer.
Reporting you can show
Metered generation data supports renewable-energy and emissions reporting for customers and auditors who increasingly ask for it.
Own the plant, or just buy the power
Both routes deliver the same plant on the same roof. The difference is who funds it and who owns it.

On OPEX, plainly: the plant is funded by a third-party investor arranged through our financing partners, not off our own balance sheet. Approval depends on your credit profile, tenure and offtake commitment, and the structure is documented in a power purchase agreement before anything is built. We will tell you early if a site is unlikely to clear financing rather than let you plan around it.

Load study and site feasibility
Consumption analysis from twelve months of bills, tariff category and sanctioned load, followed by a land or roof survey - shadow analysis, levels, soil and access for ground-mount; structural suitability for rooftop.
Engineering and design
Array layout, tilt and row spacing, module and inverter selection, string design, single-line diagram, foundation and structure design for the soil and local wind loading, cable sizing, earthing and lightning protection.
Approvals and liaison
DISCOM application, feasibility, net-metering or open-access documentation, electrical inspectorate coordination and commissioning approvals.
Procurement and construction
ALMM-approved modules and branded balance of system, site levelling and foundations, structure fabrication and erection, installation, cable trenching, testing and commissioning.
Handover and O&M
As-built documentation, warranty papers, monitoring access, operator briefing, and five years of free O&M against manufacturing defect.
Straight answers
What do you need from us to quote?
Twelve months of electricity bills, your sanctioned load, and either the land available or the roof area and its type. That is enough for a written assessment. A physical survey follows before any firm offer - we do not issue final pricing off a satellite image.
Will solar cover our entire consumption?
Almost never, and you should be cautious of anyone who says it will. Available land or roof area, sanctioned load and DISCOM limits usually cap the plant below full demand, and solar produces nothing at night. The realistic aim is to displace a meaningful share of daytime consumption - we will tell you what share your site can actually support.
Does our production have to stop during installation?
No. Construction happens on the land or on the roof and does not touch your process. A short, planned shutdown is needed only for the final interconnection and meter change, and we schedule that around your convenience - typically a weekend or a maintenance day.
What about the monsoon and dust?
The plant is designed for it - IP-rated enclosures, hot-dip galvanised structure, foundations set above expected water levels and properly routed cabling. Dust is the bigger practical issue in Gujarat: soiling can cost a noticeable share of output, so we set a cleaning schedule at handover and monitor generation to catch it when performance slips.

A fair question, and we would rather answer it than dodge it. S R Energies is a young firm - we are not going to show you a wall of logos that belongs to someone else.
